All-Star Advertising’s Jack Cook Lives Up to His Company Name by Earning Title Sevierville (TN) – The Sevierville Chamber of Commerce announced the recipient of the 2006 Chamber Friend of the Year Award. The prestigious title went to Jack Cook of All Star Advertising for his outstanding support and promotion of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented during the annual Membership Breakfast on February 27, 2007. Cook earned the prestigious Chamber Friend of the Year Award by accumulating more Friendship Award points than any other member. These points were earned by attending Chamber networking functions, ribbon cuttings, volunteering at special events and recruiting new members. “I just love Sevierville and Sevier County so much. And I love the Chamber for what it does for our community,” says Cook. “I enjoy being a part of this organization and know that membership in the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce has helped my business become more successful.” As a thank you for his hard work, Cook received a trophy courtesy of Sign Master, a three night stay at South Beach Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC, and $100 spending money. Membership Coordinator Jim McGill says, “Jack is very ambitious and supportive of the Chamber. He realizes the benefits the Chamber provides and is excited about telling other people how important membership is to their business.” Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient, who will be honored at the annual Membership Breakfast in 2008. Next month’s Chamber Friendship Award will be presented during Coffee Talk on March 15, 2007. Coffee Talk begins at 8:30am at the Sevierville Civic Center. Guests are welcome to attend and learn more about the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce. For more information, contact Jim McGill at (865) 453-6411.
