the Gatlinburg police department conducted a traffic stop late Monday night and found twenty-two year old Joshua A. Bellville of 450 Lakeshore Drive, Sevierville in possession of a stolen silver Toyota Avalon.
Sheriff's deputies were notified and further investigation revealed that the registered owner of the stolen vehicle was out of town.
A building check of the residence revealed that the home itself had been burglarized. Sevier County Sheriff's department officers completed the investigation and were able to successfully recover most all of the stolen property.
Bellville was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary.
Bellville also stands charged by Gatlinburg police department with theft of a motor vehicle, evading arrest, and driving on a suspended license. He is currently incarcerated at the Sevier county jail under a $50,000.00 bond.
