There were 100 sticks of dynamite discovered in the Wears Valley area of Sevier County according to Sevier county Sheriff Ron Seals

On July 10, 2007 at 6:44 PM the Sevier County Sheriff's Department received a call from the homeowner at 3244 Robeson Rd. According to the report, she had found some dynamite and copper blasting caps in the garage on the property while cleaning out the garage.

The Sevier County Interagency Hazardous Devices Unit was called to the scene and disposed of the dynamite.

The dynamite was approximately 20 years old and had to be burned on the scene.

The blasting caps were collected by the Sevier County Interagency Hazardous Devices Unit and will be disposed of in a training exercise on July 12, 2007 according to Sgt. Doug Ogle the commander of the Sevier County Interagency Hazardous Devices Unit.

Why did the homeowner have this in her garage?

Because she could be the first one on the block to do so?

Would you believe that one of our 3rd grade graduates and County Commissioner Jimmy, Good Ole Boy, Temple sold Dynamite and never kept proper ATF records. When he was asked about it he stated " Awe Hes a Good Ole Boy, he'll be alright". The real reason is Jimmy Boy Temple can't read or write above a 3rd grade level, but he is a County Commissioner. Are we getting the picture here folks? Enough of these Good Ole Boys! We ain't alright!

Maybe the house was a al-Qaida sleeper cell headquarters.

It may not be as funny as you think. We are a prime soft target for an attack at Dollywood or Doulas Dam! The last laugh could be on you! We are grossly underprotected by Nepotistic Good Ole Boys! Sleep tight on that thought!

Dude, your under alot of pressure. Who would be to blame for all the injustices in your paranoid life if "the Good Ole Boys" left YOU in charge? Keep up the good work at the gas station and thanks for keeping an eye on things!

Dams are pretty hard to blow up, lots of concrete, ya know? As for Dollywood, it will go the way of Opryland. I'm more worried about politicians ruining our lives, ok?
