The King’s Academy Headmaster Walter Grubb accepts a $2,500 donation to the academy’s scholarship fund for needy students from Richard D. VanLunen Foundation Trustee James Ellis of Oak Ridge. The foundation supports Christian educational institutions throughout the world and has been instrumental in helping the Seymour school establish a development office and obtain a new grand piano.
Matthew Moore, an eighth grader at Episcopal School of Knoxville, provided the program for the Seymour Breakfast Club Wednesday, December 20. Matthew played a variety of holiday and classical pieces on the grand piano. He is the son of Seymour Rotarian Dr. Robbie Moore.
