Sheriff Bruce R. Montgomery died today, February 9, 2007.

Sheriff Montgomery took office on September 1, 1994 after serving for 23 years with the United States Marshals Service as Marshal for the Eastern District of the state of Tennessee and as Deputy United States Marshal.
Sheriff Montgomery passed away this morning. More details as they become available.
