David C. Verble, President and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens National Bank, was among 80 bankers and state association executives from 28 states chosen to participate in the American Bankers Association’s Washington D.C. Freshman Fly-in. Verble was one of five representatives from Tennessee Bankers Association to participate. Attending this event gave Verble and the other bankers the opportunity to establish relationships with the 65 new Members of Congress (55 in the House and 10 in the Senate). “I feel it’s very important to build and maintain relationships with the Members of Congress. It was an honor to participate in the Freshman Fly-in and to represent Tennessee Bankers Association and American Bankers Association in Washington, D.C.,” said Verble. David C. Verble began his career at Citizens National Bank 28 years ago. He became President in 1999, Chief Executive Officer in 2005 and has served on the Board of Directors of the bank since 1982. Citizens National Bank is a locally owned community bank with over $619 million in assets. CNB has 17 branch offices and 50 ATMs located throughout Sevier, Knox, and Jefferson counties. Citizens National Bank is available online at www.cnbtn.com.
