It may be a new office but the experience behind the Knoxville Chiropractic Clinic is anything but new. The third location for owner, Dr. Woodrow W. Gwinn, Jr., the Knoxville Chiropractic Clinic opened at 2725 Asbury Rd. in Knoxville, just off Gov. John Sevier Hwy. Their Maryville location at 1812 E. Lamar Alexander Parkway gives two convenient stops to Seymour and South Knoxville residents. A third practice is located on Madisonville. Dr. Gwinn offers over 28 years of experience, and Dr. O. Brandon Forrester and Dr. Terry Loher also service its newest Knoxville location. Known as The Institute of Alternative Healthcare the office’s mission is to provide a natural approach to healthcare that incorporates many different forms of natural healing techniques. “We provide the most modern and effective solutions for a better you, including chiropractic care, homeopathy nutritional and herbal therapies,” stated Dr. Gwinn. New patient education is important to the clinic. “We hold classes weekly to teach patients about caring for their spine,” stated Dr. Loher. “We recommend every new patient attends the free class.” According to Dr. Gwinn, chiropractic care may help a variety of problems including headaches, neck pain, carpal tunnel, low back and hip pain, fibromyalgia, tension and fatigue, TMJ, scoliosis, stomach problems, dizziness, arm and leg pain and numbness and sinus problems, just to name a few. Chiropractic is a drugless, non-invasive form of healthcare that supports the concept that maintenance of proper function of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems can provide for better health. It is holistic, meaning that the entire body and a person\'s lifestyle are examined and treated. It uses natural health methods such as exercise, nutrition and diet, and lifestyle modification to promote wellness. “We would like everyone to come join us at our newest location. It’s convenient to the area, and is in a brand new building, with new furnishing and equipment,” stated Dr. Gwinn. “My commitment to you is to provide a service of nature health care that is unmatched by anyone in this area.” For more information you can call the Maryville location at 977-0916 or the new Knoxville location at 541-6797 or visit their website at http://www.drwwgwinnjr.com/index.html
