Queen is crowned

The Seymour Middle School held their homecoming on Thursday, October 5, and crowded a 6th and 7th grade Princess and an 8th grade Queen. Despite threatening weather reported the evening remained dry and all class princesses were able to walk across the football field at Benton Householder Stadium with their escorts to the yells from the crowd in attendance. The Seymour Middle School football team played a shut-out against Cocke County with a score of 34-0. For complete game coverage see today’s sports section. Congratulations to all the winners!
