AARP safe driving classes slated for June

Safety is the buzzword during the month of June for seniors. Those interested in ensuring their safety on the road and receiving tips for safe driving should participate in the upcoming AARP Driver Safety Program scheduled in June. The following are class times, dates and locations: June 7-8, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Senior Center in Oak Ridge; June 8- 9, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Halls Senior Center on Halls Cross Roads; June 19-21, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Everett Senior Center in Maryville; June 19- 21, 12:30-4:30 p.m. at Alcoa Baptist Senior Health Center in Alcoa; June 21-22, 12:30-4:30 p.m. at John T. O’Connor Senior Center in Knoxville; and June 29-30, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church in Knoxville.
