Once again, The Herald offers a weekly compilation of things to do for the coming weekend. If you have kids or guests to entertain, or if you just need a good excuse to get out of the house this weekend, there’s plenty in store for all ages: festivals, concerts, Memorial Day sales, educational events, baseball games and more. Friday – Author Cindy Ross will be giving a lecture on her account of hiking the entire the Appalachian Trail. The lecture will occur at the Sugarlands Visitor Center on Friday at 7 p.m., and is open to the public free-of-charge. Friday – Sunday - Rhythm in the Hills, at Patriot Park  Friday – Tuesday - Memorial Day Warehouse Sale, Featuring Royal Doulton, Fuller Brush, Dickies and many more - Belz Factory Outlet World, 453-7316  Friday – Monday - Memorial Day Sidewalk Sale, Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet Mall: 428-2828; Tanger Outlet Center: 428-7002  Saturday - Jim Gray Gallery Open House, For information call 428-2202  Saturday - Summer Fishing in the Smokies Seminar at Orvis Company StoreMark Lamberth will discuss summer fishing tactics in the mountains. Call 774-4162 Sunday- REO Speedwagon in concert at the Tennessee Theater. Tickets are available at the Tennessee Theatre box office for $40. Doors open at 7 p.m. May 1- June 30 - Da Vinci’s Last Supper, Learn the truth behind Da Vinci’s famous painting of “The Last Supper.” Rare sketches, quotes and reconstructions bring to light the controversial masterpiece.
