Roe bike tour continues

…from Greenville to Jonesborough Phil Roe, Republican candidate for the 1st Congressional District seat, will continue his bicycle tour Saturday, with a ride from Greeneville to Jonesborough. This leg of the tour will leave from Wal-Mart in Greeneville at 6:30 a.m. Cyclists are invited to join the ride, which will continue north on Highway 11-E, with stops along the way, ending at Weems Florist at 100 Boone Street in Jonesborough before the Jonesborough Days Parade begins at 10 am. Roe will participate in the parade as well. Roe is currently conducting a bike tour of the 1st District, stopping at small businesses, farms and homes as part of his pledge to “deliver your voice to Washington.” Upcoming bicycle trips throughout the District will be announced as the Roe Tour continues.
