ETSU graduate
fellowship
endowment
established
Graduate students in the Claudius G. Clemmer College of Education at East Tennessee State University will benefit from a new endowment established by Dr. David and Hilda Collins through an initial gift of $15,000.
The purpose of the Collins Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Fellowship Endowment is to generate funds for graduate fellows to be used as either direct stipends or for research support. The chair of the Clemmer College’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis will determine the area of support for the fellows.
The ETSU vice president for Business and Finance since 2003, David Collins has served the university for over 24 years.
The principal of the endowment fund will remain intact with only the earnings used for the graduate fellowships. Additional contributions to the fund are encouraged from family and friends.
