Blount County Sheriff James Berrong, along with Jeff Hedden, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Tennessee, is asking for your assistance in locating a suspect wanted out of Kansas. Sean Gregory Fife, 21, whose local address is listed as 4551 Nebo Mountain Road, Walland, faces a charge of enticement of a minor for indecent purposes out of Oberlin, Kansas. An officer with the Oberlin Police Department said that Fife, who had been living in the Oberlin area for several months, left the state with a 16-year-old girl on May 25. Fife is also wanted out of Oberlin on a burglary charge in which several pistols and shotguns were stolen. The Sevier County Sheriff’s Office located the girl in Sevier County late last week, but Fife fled on foot. The girl told officers that they had been staying in motels in Pigeon Forge for the past month. The U.S. Marshal Service is following up on local leads on Fife’s whereabouts. Fife is also wanted by the Blount County Sheriff’s Office on several outstanding charges. Fife is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with any information regarding Fife’s whereabouts is asked to call the Blount County Sheriff’s Office 24-hour Crime Hotline at 273-5200, the U.S. Marshal Service Knoxville office at 545-4182, or you local law enforcement agency.
