Second suspect wanted for questioning john@theheraldnewspapers.com A neighbor’s domestic disturbance call led the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department to the home of Mary and Harry Bearden on Tuckahoe Road in Kodak Tuesday. What deputies allegedly discovered at the scene sent Mary Bearden, 48, to jail. Once deputies arrived at the couple’s home, they discovered the two had allegedly been in an altercation. Harry Bearden was not at the home when deputies arrived, however, their initial investigation revealed the home allegedly contained components normally associated with the manufacture of methamphetamines. Mary Bearden now faces one charge of the attempt to manufacture methamphetamines. Sheriff’s Capt. Randy Parton said Harry Bearden has charges pending, and deputies continue their search for him for questioning. The Sevier County Sheriff’s Department’s Meth Lab Response Team and the South East Methamphetamine Task Force responded to the scene.
