“Top Dawg” wins Friendship Award

Amy Corum, operations manager of Top Dawg Carpet Cleaning, claimed the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Award for June at the most recent Coffee Talk event. Corum has been with Top Dawg Carpet Cleaning for a year and a half. On her experience with the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce, Corum says, “This Sevierville Chamber has opened up numerous doors of opportunity for me both personally and professionally.” She continues, “When I first joined, Mary Brown took me around and introduced me to people and everyone really made me feel welcomed. A lot of other Chambers don’t give that kind of reception. Here I’ve seen southern hospitality.” As a thank you for her hard work, Corum received a plaque courtesy of Sign Master, and a Fresh Air Buddy personal air purifier valued at over $100 from Healthy Air & Water. Sevierville Chamber of Commerce Friendship Awards are based on points accumulated monthly from attending Chamber functions and volunteering as well as bringing inactive members and potential new members to Chamber events. Monthly points will go towards determining the Chamber Friend of the Year Award recipient. The next Chamber Friendship Award will be presented during Coffee Talk on August 17, 2006.
