Students make the Dean’s List

Tennessee Tech University is pleased to announce the names of its students included on the Dean’s List for the fall 2005 semester. Students earn the academic distinction by completing a full course load with a quality point average of 3.1 or better on the university’s 4.0 scale. TTU is no stranger to high ratings. U.S.News and World Report magazine’s 2006 America’s Best Colleges ranked TTU as a Top Public University in the South for its category and included it among the Best Universities, including both private and public schools, in its category for the South. In addition, TTU was one of only 17 Tennessee schools, only four of which were public universities, to be given the “Best Southeastern College” designation by The Princeton Review, and the university was named one of America’s 100 Best College Buys by Institutional Research and Evaluation Inc. A member of the Tennessee Board of Regents, TTU ranks first in alumni satisfaction among all other TBR universities. The university offers 44 undergraduate degree and 21 graduate degree programs, including the Ph.D. in engineering, environmental science and education.
