OBITUARY

Geneva N. Manis (Granny) Covington, age 91, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006 at Life Care of Ridgeview Terrace in Rutledge, TN. She was a member of Kimberlain Heights Church of God and was retired after 20 years of service from Baptist Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, David (Earl) Covington, Children; Marie Clark, Holbert E. Covington, James Leroy Covington, and Myrtle Ann Covington Survivors: Children; Kathleen Howard; Mamie Carrigg; Robert (Wayne) Covington and wife Fran; Mary Alice Vineyard; Tommy Covington and wife Carolyn; Gordon Covington and wife Linda; Chucky Charles Covington and wife Sherry; 27 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews Funeral service 7 PM Wednesday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Pastor Becky McMillian and Rev. Bud Roberts officiating. Interment 1 PM Thursday in Valley Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN. (577-2807)
