Ernest McMahan/Middle Creek Road intersection work scheduled

Construction work to improve the intersection of Ernest McMahan Road and Middle Creek Road is scheduled to begin the week of August 28, 2006. The estimated completion date is November 2006, weather permitting. The improvements will consist of adding a right turn lane from westbound Ernest McMahan Road onto northbound Middle Creek Road and adding a left turn lane from southbound Middle Creek Road onto eastbound Ernest McMahan Road. Work on the $191,000 project is scheduled during the week between 9:00AM - 3:00PM and may also occur on weekends. Traffic will be maintained, however delays are expected and it is recommended that motorists consider alternate routes whenever possible.
