Early this month, a mobile home in Seymour was savagely vandalized and every window in the home was smashed.
The home, located at 1130 Matthew Lane, was unoccupied at the time, but received over $1,000 worth of damage during the incident.
According to a new release from the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department, the owner of the mobile home chased two men from the site and was able to identify the escape vehicle with the first three letters of its license plate.
The case was investigated by Detective Matthew Cubberley who was able to develop two suspects from the investigation.
On Tuesday, 18-year-old Casey Hood and 20-year-old Carson Harmon were arrested for the incident, charged with felony vandalism. The two suspects are to appear in General Sessions Court on May 19 at 9 a.m.
