Temporary closure of section of Old Douglas Dam Road

The City of Sevierville Public Works Department announces that road repairs will be made on Old Douglas Dam Road beginning Monday, September 19, 2005 and ending on Tuesday, September 20, 2005, weather permitting. The work will take place on each day from 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Local traffic will be maintained will work is in progress, however, thru traffic will not be allowed. The bridge on Old Douglas Dam Road will be closed to all traffic between 8:30AM - 4:30PM each day. The bridge will be open to traffic after 4:00PM each day.After the Public Works Department completes the necessary repairs, the road will be resurfaced. A date for the resurfacing has not yet been scheduled.
