Contestants of every shape in size

Annual costume contest yields large turnout jani@theheraldnewspapers.com The Food City in Seymour held their second annual Halloween costume contest on Thursday and it was an amazing sensation. Over 66 contestants participated in the event in hopes of winning a valued gift certificate to the grocery store. “This year was bigger than last year,” stated Junior Watson, Store Manager. “We had a wonderful turnout and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.” The contestants were judged in categories according to age. The winners received a $25 gift certificate; second place received a $15 gift certificate and third place a $10 gift certificate.
