Soon the Holiday Bells will be ringing! However for many families, November often brings time and money anxiety as they look towards the Christmas season. However, this year can be different. How? Gather some ideas at “Holidays Unwrapped”, a program presented by U.T. Extension and the Rel Maples Institute for Culinary Arts. The theme is “Empowering Families for Low-Stress Holidays” with ideas on holiday cooking, managing time and money . . . .and even making some inexpensive gifts! “Holidays Unwrapped” will be held at the Fort Sanders Sevier Senior Center, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., on November 1st. The public is invited. Cost will be $5.00 for materials. Class size is limited, so please call Linda Hyder, Extension Agent, for reservations by October 26, at 774-3764 or lhyder@utk.edu. “Unwrap” an afternoon of fun while you learn more strategies for a more relaxed holiday season.
