Country music star helps raise money for T.J. Martell Foundation Capitol Recording artist, Chris Cagle, made it to the final round Sunday during the T.J. Martell Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament held in New York. The event began with over 60 players, and ended with Cagle and Aaron Benward, from Blue County, in the final round. The poker tournament raised $14,000, which will fund groundbreaking medical research to find cures and treatment for leukemia, cancer and AIDS. Cagle’s latest single, “Miss Me Baby,” from his album, ANYWHERE BUT HERE, is currently a Top 20 hit on both Billboard and R&R country singles charts and climbing. Cagle, who co-wrote “Miss Me Baby” with Monty Powell, explains that this song is “one of those things that we all feel no matter what time of the breakup or what point... whether it’s in the beginning or the end of the healing process.”
