Three persons injured in traffic accident

Sevierville Police (SPD) responded to a reported traffic accident in front of Blalock’s Construction, 1114 Parkway, at about 2:50PM Thursday, March 3, 2005. According to SPD Officer Tony Price, a 1996 Dodge Intrepid driven by 38-year old Melissa Bradley of Kodak was traveling north on the Parkway. A 1977 Pontiac Catalina driven by 40-year old Wilburn Green of Sevierville was attempting to cross the northbound lanes and turn left (south) onto the Parkway from Blalock’s Construction. The two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes. Bradley and Green were both transported to Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center (FSSMC) with unknown injuries. A passenger in the Catalina, 69-year old Evangeline Green, was also transported to FSSMC. The Sevier County Ambulance Service transported all three persons. Wilburn Green was trapped for a short period in his vehicle and was extricated by Sevierville Fire Department personnel.
