The Fort Sanders Therapy Center in Sevierville has announced the addition of two new therapists to its pediatric rehabilitation program, Kidz Can Do. Joining the Kidz Can Do staff are Aimee Bailey, MPT, and Denise Razzak, OTR/L. The pair partner with certified speech pathologists Traci Bush and Stephanie McCall to provide comprehensive pediatric services to the area. Bailey received her masters of physical therapy degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. She completed her undergraduate degree at Mississippi State University. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Previously from the Memphis area, Bailey now resides in New Market with her husband, Brian. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and traveling. Razzak graduated from the Medical College of Georgia. She has been a registered occupational therapist for 13 years. She resides in Sevierville with her husband, Dr. Ammar Razzak, and their two children, Kaleb and Jordan. Her professional interests include sensory integration and orthopedics. The Kidz Can Do program offers pediatric physical, occupation, speech, and feeding therapy. Their motto is “Kidz can do anything; kidz can do everything; all kidz…every kid, as long as they dare to dream.” The therapists offer evaluation and treatment to patients with disability or developmental delay from birth to 18 years such as those with cerebral palsy, orthopedic and brain injuries, neurological and sensory integrative disorders. They also provide treatment in coordination with the Tennessee Early Intervention System and local school systems. In addition, staff members assess for assistive technology, adaptive devices, splints, braces, wheelchairs, and provide serial casting. The therapists work with all physicians in the Sevier County, as well as all specialty doctors in Knoxville at any hospital. Program hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 6 p.m. For more information on “Kidz Can Do,” call 429-6118.
