Anderson County EMT charged Murder charges filed this week against an Anderson County EMT worker for rural Metro. Phillip Douglas Seals is charged with two murders, his estranged wife and her male companion. Workers were shocked to hear that someone in the business of saving lives has taken two. Fire destroys building A fire nearly destroyed the historic Crimson Building in Downtown Knoxville leaving nearly a dozen people homeless. The building is located on Gay Street. Investigators say the fire started on the first floor. They are calling the fire suspicious. The historic building was the home of seven condo units and one business. “Nacho” ordinary streaker A Maryville man arrested for running around naked covered with nacho cheese last summer pleaded guilty to burglary, indecent exposure, and other charges, but he won’t be going to jail. The man explained that he was very drunk on his 23rd birthday when he broke into a swimming pool snack bar and proceeded to smear that delectable orange cheese over his birthday suit. In a deal with prosecutors he was sentenced to three years in prison, but given supervised probation
