Sevier county job fair scheduled The Sevier County Economic Development Council along with the cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville are sponsoring the 8th annual Sevier County Job Placement Fair. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at the Music Road Hotel Convention Center in Pigeon Forge at stop light #1. The event will be from 10 am to 4:30 pm. Businesses that will be participating are H&R Block, Three Bears Gifts, Taco Bell, Nascar Speed Park, Westgate, Dollywood, Staffing Solutions, Eight Gables Inn, Citizens National Bank, Fulcher’s Landscaping, Inc, Park Vista Hotel, Ashley Nostalgia, Marble Slab Creamery, Comedy Barn Theater, Atlanta Bread Company, Smoky Mountain Harley, Music Road Hotel, Heritage Log Homes, Old Mill Square, Dixie Stampede, Christmas Place, Scenic Helicopter Tours, Holiday Inns of the Smokies, Blalock Companies, Old Navy Outlet, Crown Park Resort, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Sevier County Bank, Bluegreen Vacations, BeautiControl, Grand Resort Hotel Group, Hampton Inn on the River, Fairfield Resorts, Jones, Apparel, River Terrace Resorts, Sunrise Ridge Resort, Aeropostale and Oak Tennessee, Inc. The types of jobs that will be available are administrative, amusement attendants, attraction hosts, auditors, bakers, boarding attendants, cashiers, chef, clerical, concessions, cook, dishwashers, front desk personnel, guest services, housekeepers, landscape foreman, life guards, light industrial, maintenance, managers, marketing coordinators, PBX operator, pesticide applicator, photographers, reservations, restaurant manager, sales associates, servers, ice cream scoopers, sawmill workers, skilled labor, stablehands, stock associates, tax professionals, tellers, telemarketers, timeshare sales, track attendants, vacation coordinators, and warehouse attendants. There is a limited amount of booth space still available for any Sevier County Businesses. A business must have at least 3 job openings to participate.
