published: June 17 2004 12:00 AM updated:: June 17 2004 12:00 AM
If your pop is a putter, you can give him the American Cancer Society Golf Pass this Father’s Day. The Golf Pass gets him on some of the best golf courses in Tennessee, letting him perfect his drive and sharpen his swing for free or a reduced rate. Valued at more than $3,000 the pass costs only a $20 donation. The Golf Pass provides free or reduced rounds on 232 courses and 29 practice ranges. Proceeds from the 2004 Golf Pass support American Cancer Society’s research, education, advocacy and patient support programs in your community. The Golf Pass can be used throughout the 2004 calendar year, with any exceptions noted on the pass. Golf carts are required, but not included. Call 1-800-ACS-2345 to place an order for the Golf Pass or for additional information about participating courses. The Golf Pass may also be purchased online at www.cancer.org or at the Knoxville office of the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy and service.
