Dance studio finds new home

Ashley’s Dance Academy in new location Ashley’s Dance Academy has moved to 269 Business Park Drive in Seymour Centre, behind Seymour Cleaners. Ashley Marsh and two other instructors are presently teaching 12 classes at the academy. They teach tap, jazz, ballet, clogging, and hip hop. Tumbling classes are also offered at the studio. In the near future cheerleading classes will be taught. Mrs. Marsh said she first opened in Seymour on August 16, 2004. She officially opened at the new facility on December 6, and was the first tenant in the new Seymour Centre. Her mother is also a dance instructor, and Ashley followed in her footsteps. She moved to this area from Arkansas with her husband, who is the boys’ basketball coach at Alcoa High School. The girls in the present classes will perform in a recital on June 11,2004, at South-Doyle High School. For more information you can call the academy at 573-4233.
