We like to have something new or different each year to keep it exciting and fresh.”The highlight of the evening will be at the stroke of midnight when the Space Needle will drop the ball signifying the old year is over and a new one has begun. A fireworks show up the structure and off the roof of the 342-foot Space Needle will welcome the New Year in dazzling style.Performers from Hard Rock Cafe will entertain the crowd of over 20,000 revelers. Rich Bailey of Star 102.1 will also provide music for dancing in the streets around the Space Needle. The entire town of Gatlinburg celebrates New Year’s Eve in a big way with many restaurants and attractions offering special celebrations.
