Area churches celebrate Christmas

published: December 20 2004 12:00 AM updated:: December 20 2004 12:00 AM
The First Baptist Church of Seymour was one of many churches that celebrated Christmas with music. Minister of Music, Scott Williams led the First Baptist Sanctuary Choir in a program titled “Comfort and Joy”. The music was uplifting and worshipful, reminding the congregation of the true meaning of Christmas. The program told of the fact that comfort and joy are gifts of the Father, sent in the Person of His only Son, and ministered to us through the Holy Spirit. The church will also be having a Christmas Eve candlelight, caroling, and communion service, on December 24, at 5:00 p.m. The public is warmly invited to attend.
