Covenant Christian Academy students put together a hearty collection of coveted items for our troops overseas. Pictured left to right are CCA students Daniel Kirk, Rochelle Guenther, Christian Blevins, Emily Brady, Arrow Jones, Caitlin Dennis, Brayden Clabough, Lexi Shrader, Joseph Trees, Jessica Metcalf, Kelly Lambert, Haley Phistry, Jacob Thomas, Jenny Foster-Jones, Seth Cutshaw, Kara Francis, Erik Jones, Mrs. Oberdecker and Mrs. Alexander.
The kindergarten class at Covenant Christian Academy in Sevierville has been busy collecting “wish list” items for our troops in Iraq. They have filled several boxes with hard candy, film, sports magazines, tissues, soft toilet tissue, lip balm, gum, etc.
The children also made a banner to enclose in one of the boxes. The banner reads “God Bless America,” and “We Pray for our Troops.” Children drew pictures of themselves and sent a copy of the photo pictured.
