Broker open house held in Seymour

The movers and shakers in the real estate business met this past Friday for a broker’s open house. “We invited all the brokers and agents in the local area where we have new homes for sale,” stated broker Steve Albin. “It’s a social gathering and we also preview our product and let them know what we have for sale. We feed them and they have a good time. Since we don’t have meetings anymore where people can get together the idea came about to put this on. This is a way to showcase houses and everybody can network,” The event was put together by Rebecca Wampler of Ferguson Realty and builder Julie Sexton. “We’d like to have more in the future,” stated Wampler. Door prizes were given away including a quarter-page ad in the Herald Newspapers, and a grand prize of a two night stay at a cabin getaway donated by Judy Sehgal of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
