CNB officers graduate Southeastern

The Southeastern School of Commercial Lending recently announc-ed the graduation of two Citizens National Bank Loan Officers, along with 71 other banking students. “We encourage our employees to continue gaining knowledge in the rapidly changing world of banking and lending, as we use this knowledge to better serve our customers,” said Bill Carroll, Chairman and CEO of Citizens National Bank.  Jordan Wells, Vice President and Loan Officer at the bank’s main office, was one of the nine graduates to earn special honors, ranking in the top 10 percent of the class. Wells has been with CNB for over 7 years handling loans, coordinating the home equity loans and previously as collections officer and operations manager at the Pigeon Forge branch. Wells received a bachelor’s degree in Business Admin-istration in finance from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended graduate school at the University of Tennessee. Wells is a graduate of the South-eastern School of Banking, also graduating in the top 10%. He actively participates in the community through the United Way, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, AYSO soccer, and the Boys and Girls Club. Originally, from Malone, New York, Wells and his wife Tia, reside in Sevier County with their three children, Cameron, Makenzie, and Connor. David “Scooter” Reagan, Vice President & Loan Officer at the bank’s main office in Sevierville, also graduated from TSSCL. Reagan has been with CNB for over 8 years and has worked in collections, merchant credit cards and previously was branch manager in Kodak. A lifelong resident of Sevier County, he graduate Sevier County High School, and earned his bachelor’s of arts degree in management from Maryville College. He is also a graduate of the South-eastern School of Banking and a member of the Northview Optimist Club. Reagan resides in Sevier County with his wife Hope and their children Taylor and Caleb. The Southeastern School of Commercial Lending (TSSCL) has had bankers from Tennessee and six southeastern states graduate from their school since its inception in 1984. The TSSCL is an intensive, one-week school that exposes students to the major issues commercial loan officers face on a daily basis. The TSSB is affiliated with the Professional Development Program of the American Bankers Association. This annual banking school, conducted by the Tennessee Bankers Association, is held annually at the Owen Graduate School of Management on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
