Minor held in Blount County bank robbery

Thursday, June 12, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Citizens Bank of Blount County (CBBC), located at 2041 Topside Road, in Louisville, TN, was hit by a lone male robber, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Department. The alleged robber, later reported captured by police, was said to be only sixteen years old.
The robber entered the bank and displayed a handgun, before obtaining an undetermined amount of money. The robber was described as approximately 5’10” – 6’0” tall, wearing a blue bandana covering his face, with a dark colored ball cap, large plastic sunglasses, blue jeans, and a blue button-down shirt.
The robber fled the bank in a truck, reported stolen the morning of the robbery, which was later recovered.
