Taking it to the streets: Road construction and closings in the Sevier County area

The Herald newspapers will begin to feature a comprehensive listing of road closings and construction. We are working in direct contact with the highway department to bring our readers this public service. All dates are subject to change, based on weather conditions and other factors.   Bridge Work Rocky Flats Road (near Cosby): Two bridge projects are currently scheduled to begin on or around June 20th. Completion date is unknown at this time.   Road Widening Knob Creek Road (off of Highway 411): This project is currently scheduled to begin on or around June 12th. Estimated completion date is June 26th. Resurfacing Knob Creek Road (off of Highway 411): This project is currently halfway through completion. Americana Subdivision: This project is currently halfway through completion. Clear Fork Road: This project is currently scheduled to begin on or around June 16th. Estimated date of completion is June 20th.
