Baptist Senior Plus Prom to be held Get ready to “Put on Your Dancin’ Shoes” with Baptist Senior Plus. On Friday, June 27, the Baptist Health System membership program that brings together East Tennesseans age 55 and up, presents everyone’s favorite event, the Baptist Senior Prom. The prom will be held at the Rothchild Conference Center, 8807 Kingston Pike, and will begin at 6 p.m. Parking is free and tickets cost $10. “There is something for everyone age 55 and over,” says Director of Baptist Senior Services Susan Long. “Whether they just want to tap their toes and mingle with friends or dance the night away, everyone will have a very enjoyable evening.” All prom guests will enjoy the sounds of the Al Curtis Orchestra and Mood Swing. The evening will include food, nonalcoholic beverages, music and dancing from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Attire for the event is dressy, though formal wear is not required. In the past, apparel has ranged from tuxedos and eveningwear to Sunday best. Gentlemen are asked to wear a jacket and tie. Tickets for the Baptist Senior Prom are now available on a first come, first served basis at any Baptist Senior Heath Center. The event is exclusively for Baptist Senior Plus members and their guests. For more information about the Baptist Senior Plus membership program or the Senior Prom, please call Baptist Senior Services at (865) 632-5170.
