Area teachers receive Masters

Linda H. Williams and Pamela Williams received their Masters of Arts of Education from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. Cumberland University has a distance-learning program, which enables teachers to get their masters while teaching. Both ladies teach at Seymour Community Christian School in the elementary department. Pamela Williams is the daughter of Clarence and Ethelyn Linsenbigler of Knoxville. She is the wife of Jack Williams and has a daughter and two sons. Pamela has been teaching for eleven years, nine of which has been with S.C.C.S. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson Bible College. Upon receiving her MAE, Pamela received academic honors in Kappa Delta Pi and the Pinnacle Honor Societies. She had a 4.0 grade point average. Linda is the daughter of Ruby Hylton and the late J.W. Hylton of Jonesboro. She is the wife of Seth Williams and has a son. Both Seth and Linda teach at S.C.C.S. Linda is completing her twenty-fifth year of teaching and has been at SCCS for thirteen years. She received her bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama. She also received academic honors in Kappa Delta Pi and the Pinnacle Honors Societies. She had a 4.0 grade point average.
