Seymour resident makes Dean’s List

Two hundred twenty nine students at Bryan College, including one from Seymour, Tenn., were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2002 semester. Emily Stephenson, daughter of Leigh and Tina Stephenson of Seymour, was recognized for her academic achievement. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn at least a 3.5 grade average on Bryan’s 4.0 scale. Bryan is a four-year Christian liberal arts college offering bachelor’s degrees in 14 areas. The college has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for eight consecutive years as being among the Top Tier of Southern liberal arts colleges.
