Huskey, Marshall Edward May 15, 1952 - February 18, 2003 Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home. Cemetery: Old Chilhowee Cemetery Marshall Edward Huskey, age 50 of Seymour died Tuesday, February 18, 2003. He was preceded in death by his father Marshall Jearl Huskey. Survivors: Mother: Sylvia Huskey Sisters and brothers: Linda Welch, Barbara Wilson, Rita Gonzales, Donna Surabian, Gerald Huskey. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Adams officiating. Interment followed in Old Chilhowee Cemetery in Blount County. The family received at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Caughron, Hobert O. July 05, 1920 - February 22, 2003 Funeral Home: Atchley Funeral Home Cemetery: Providence Cemetery Hobert O. Caughron, 82, of Sevierville passed away Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Alder Branch Baptist Church, a Veteran of the US Army, retired from Y-12 Oak Ridge, and owner of H & C Realty for over 40 years. Preceded in death by his parents; Luther and Haley Catlett Caughron: Brothers; Haskell and W.T, Caughron: Sister; Frances Caughron; Half-sisters; Mamie and Lee Guffey: Half-brother; Hollis Caughron Survivors: Wife of 62 years: Ruby Manis Caughron, Daughter and Son -in-law: Clara and Bill Carroll Son: Bill Caughron. Grandsons: Billy Carroll and wife Jill, Brian L. Carroll Great Granddaughter: Hailey Alexandra Carroll. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. Interment followed in Providence Cemetery. Evans, Clifford L Evans, Clifford L, SMSgt (Ret) of Louisville, TN passed away suddenly on February 18, 2003 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. He was a Korean War Veteran and retired from 134th Air Refueling Wing, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base following 41 years of service. Preceded in death by: Parents, Leland and Lois Evans of Clinton, TN. Survivors include: Wife, Zoe Ella Evans; Sons and Daughters-in-law, David & Kim Evans and Mike & Julie Evans; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Teresa & David Jones and Belinda & James Millsaps all of Maryville; Nine Grandchildren: Mallorie Evans, Ashley Vaughn, Brock Evans, Brittany Jones, Derek Evans, Blakely Jones, Jacob Evans, Mollie Evans, Cade Evans; Brothers, Tommy, Jimmy, Hugh Von, Kenneth, Donald, Ronald, Larry, Bob and Bill Evans all of Clinton, TN. Funeral services were held at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Parker, Rev. Randy Perry and Rev. Steve Evans officiating. Interment followed at Grandview Cemetery with military honors. Flynn, Jean Millsaps Flynn, Jean Millsaps age 80 of Maryville died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at the family home. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, Past Matron of Mary Blount Order of Eastern Star #133. Preceded in death by: Husband, L.V. Flynn; Parents, William L. & Willie Millsaps; four brothers; two sisters. Survivors include: Sister, Edna James of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. O.E.S. Memorial services were held in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Joe White officiating. Family and friends assembled at Grandview Cemetery for the entombment. Lowe, Harlan Huffaker Lowe, Harlan Huffaker age 87 of Alcoa passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Blount Memorial Transitional Care Center. He was currently a member of Armona Baptist Church, Alcoa, TN and formerly a member and deacon at Alcoa First Baptist Church for almost 50 years. He was retired from ALCOA with 39 years of service and a member of their 25-Year Club. Mr. Lowe enjoyed carpentry work, furniture making and woodcarving. Preceded in death by: Wife, Pearl M. Lowe; Daughter-in-law, Beverley T. Lowe; Parents, Fred and Jessie Lowe of Sevier County. Survivors include: Son, Robert C. (Bob) Lowe and Daughter-in-law, Sarah Lowe of Gatlinburg; Grandson, R. Scott Lowe and wife Shannon of Knoxville; Grandson, Matthew P. Lowe of Fort Worth, TX; Sister-in-law, Frances McCarter Smith; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lowe is also survived by special friends, Nell Brown and James Woods. Funeral services were held in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Bob Lawson and Matt Lowe officiating. Ownby, William Loften Ownby, William Loften age 89 of Gatlinburg, TN died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at Sevier County Health Care Center. He attended Glades Lebanon Baptist Church, retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by: Wife, Nancy L. Ownby; Son, Dot Ownby. Survivors include: Sons, Ray & wife Carolyn Ownby of Walland, Glen Ownby of Walland, and Frank Ownby of Cleveland, OH; Daughters, Nell & husband Zelmer Ball of Gatlinburg, TN, Una & husband Lloyd Large of Cleveland, OH, Louise Ogle of Cleveland, OH, Reba Orr of Maryville, Wilma & husband Walter Garner of Maryville; 31 Grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Dot Ownby of Strawberry Plains, TN; Sister, Stella Fillers of SC. Patterson, Ruby Sharp Patterson, Ruby Sharp age 88 of Alcoa passed away quietly Thursday morning, February 20, 2003 at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by: Parents, Herman and Millie Sharp; Brothers, Bradford Sharp and Willis Sharp. Survivors include: Husband of 68 years, Glenn Patterson; Son and Daughter-in-law, Wayne and Mary Patterson of Kingsport; Grandson, Gary Patterson of Alcoa; Brother, Eugene Sharp of Sevierville. Rolen, Glen July 09, 1930 - February 22, 2003 Funeral Home:  Atchley Funeral Home Cemetery: Black Oak Cemetery Glen Rolen, age 72 of Sevierville, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at his home. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a longtime bus driver and mechanic for the Sevier County School System. He was preceded in death by his son, Elbert Rolen, parents Stanley and Becky Jane Rolen, and sisters, Margaret Hurst and Helen Howard. Survivors: Wife of 52 years: Pauline Rolen Sons and Daughters-in-law: Jerry and Marsha Rolen, Claude and Ellen Rolen, Marvin and Betty Rolen Daughter and Son-in-law: Teressa and Dwight Breeden Grandchildren: Jerry Lynn, Randy and Mandy, Joshua, Justin, and Jasper Rolen, Tosha and Eric Hurst Great Grandchild: Abigial E.
