Sevierville, Tennessee - Gary Woods and Regina Starkey of Gary Woods Photography received Awards of Excellence during the Senior Photographers International (SPI) convention and competition held January 9-12 in Orlando, Florida.
The SPI consists of professional photographers from around the world, including all 50 states and 9 countries. All folios judged were composed of high school seniors, and Gary took awards for both the Senior Girls and Senior Boys divisions, while Regina won the Digital Arts division. The winning folios were those of Seymour High students Jenny Vlas, Nick Manis, and Erin Schubert.
Gary and Regina also attended seminars for honing their skills in the newest photography trends, posing, lighting, and digital creativity. Gary said, “It is very important to us both that we continue to seek new information and attain new skills in order to be the best we can be for our clients. Attending these seminars to better our talents is just another way we strive to provide excellence in photography.”
“The awards we received are a wonderful reassurance that clients of Gary Woods Photography are getting ‘the best of the best’ in professional photographers,” added Regina. Both Gary and Regina were also honored to attend dinner with the owners and founders of SPI, Terry and Sue Harris.
