Easy access for people on the go Due to increased demand, The Seymour Herald is hard at work installing new coin-operated paper boxes throughout the Seymour community to make the paper more readily available. Production manager Anthony Lambert began installation of the boxes on Thursday, February 6th. “The Seymour Herald has experienced incredible growth over the last year,” Publisher Joseph Karl remarked, “And this is yet another way we can get what we think is the best publication in the area into the hands of more readers.” The Herald, which celebrated its first year of publication at the end of January, is read and respected by many of the 30,000 plus residents throughout the area. The company is scheduled to begin publication of the Smoky Mountain Herald in about four weeks. The new paper’s bureau is located in Sevierville and will also serve Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the rest of Sevier County. “We’re excited about reaching an even wider audience,” Lambert stated. “These new boxes will raise awareness of our fine publication and motivate consumers who are looking for convenience in their purchasing decisions to regularly obtain their copy, and to find out about the local events covered in The Seymour Herald like no place else.” Matt Dyer, the first customer to walk up and purchase The Seymour Herald exclaimed, “I’m so happy that the paper is available here because it’s often sold out by the time I get to the store.” The royal blue boxes will be located at strategic points in the Seymour area where foot traffic is high and the need is great, and will bear the Herald Newspapers logo. The Herald encourages readers to patronize the businesses wherever the paper is sold.
