Sure to please

July Fourth Celebration You and your family are invited to attend Seymour’s own special birthday party for the U.S.A. to be held on Friday, July 4, Independence Day at Seymour Community Park. Featured events include live entertainment by music artists Kevin Miller, 2Thirty, and Big Mama’s Karaoke Café. Many vendors and exhibitors will be on hand, and there will be tons of events for the kids, including face painting, a coloring contest, the Burger King Whopper Hopper, and more. The big conclusion to the event will be the Seymour Skyburst, the community’s only professionally produced fireworks display, to take place after dark. Food and drink vendors will be ready to serve up Italian dishes, BBQ, pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, and other traditional July Fourth treats. The fun starts at 4 p.m., so the kids will have lots of playtime before the fireworks begin, including a coloring contest. A costume contest will be held for revelers who come dressed as their favorite Founding Father or Mother. Come early and plan to spend the day with your neighbors and friends at Seymour’s best place to celebrate America’s independence. Please no animals, alcohol, coolers or personal fireworks.
