Traffic was backed up along Boyd’s Creek Rd. Thursday morning at approximately 8:00 a.m. holding up school traffic after a three-car accident.
A 2002 Kia driven by George Earl rear-ended a 2001 Grand Prix driven by Terry Day which pushed the vehicle into a Safari driven by Paul Long. Earl received a citation for following too closely. Tennessee Highway patrol Trooper Bundren responded to the scene as well as officers from the Sevier County Sheriff’s Department.
There were no reported injuries.
