Residents braved the nasty weather and came out to Olde City Italian Eatery & Ice Cream Parlor on Chapman Hwy. in Seymour to listen to the tunes of the gospel group, “The Jeff Treece Band.”
Attendance was estimated at around 100 people with young and old coming out to hear the tunes. “Everything went very well. A church group and youth group came. All age groups were represented,” stated co-owner Leigh Ann Leftwich. Husband and co-owner DeWayne Leftwich stated, “We’d like to thanks everyone for braving the bad weather and for the patrons patience as we go through their growing pains. Our friends and staff all worked hard and it made the event truly enjoyable.” The Leftwich’s plan on presenting entertainment at the Eatery every Thursday night from now through October from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Located at 11510 Chapman Hwy. They are worth checking out.
