Also Carrying Full Line of Cantrells Candies and Fine Chocolates
Ivy’s Gifts and Collectibles have now added chocolate to the already impressive lineup of merchandise and gifts. The new Cantrells Candies and Fine Chocolates kiosk includes individual truffles and a new product called “Mama Freda’s Original Recipe Fudge.” The store has always carried a great assortment of University of Tennessee merchandise and is expanding the section during the football season. The section includes tailgate items such as orange hibachi grills, assorted decorative throws and wind chimes.
Cantrells Candies owner Stacy Cantrell stated, “ We are so fortunate to have such a great gifts and collectibles store in our community.” She added, “ I personally have shopped at Ivy’s since it opened and I love their products. They are always looking for that special something that I just don’t have time to shop for.” Cantrell also added “we are so pleased to be involved with Ivy’s. They are committed to Seymour just as much as we are, and that is such a thrill!” When asked about their new fudge she stated, “ We are now making Mama Freda’s Original Recipe Fudge. Fudge lovers have just been going crazy over the smooth creamy texture of the fudge.”
On November 9th Ivy’s will be hosting their annual open house to showcase their holiday merchandise. Fans of the store clamor for the day and store assistant Beth stated, “ we decided to move the open house date to a Saturday this year. We have done it on Sunday’s in the past but feel the Saturday day will allow for a larger variety of special events.” The store is also planning to introduce seasonal candies and chocolates in the coming year, especially around the holidays. “East Tennesseeans enjoy their holidays, and they usually involve food. So what better way to tie that in than by having candies and chocolates that remind one of home?” stated one shopper. Yet another satisfied shopper stated, “ I can’t wait for the open house in November. There are so many good deals during that sale!”
One outstanding product observed were “pie slices” that are actually candles. They smell like the piece of real pie they resemble. Ivy’s has also begun carrying novelty suckers, pumpkins and apples in particular to appeal to the fall lover in us all.
