Seymour High School Band wins awards

Seymour High School Marching Band competed in the East Tennessee State University marching competition on October 12th. The band was awarded BEST MUSIS, BEST MARCHING and BEST GENERAL EFFECT, which led to the award of BEST IN CLASS. The band also competed at the Smoky Mountain Invitational this past Saturday, which was hosted by South Doyle High School band. The Seymour High School Band has taken first place in their class for the last two years at that contest. In 2 weeks, Seymour will compete in the Tennessee State Marching Band Championships.
