Seymour Band competes

The Seymour Band recently competed at the Patriot Preview in Jefferson City on Saturday September 28th. The marching band festival was hosted by Jefferson County High School. The band had an incredible run of the show and was the only band that received superior ratings in every category. A superior rating is the highest rating possible for a band. Seymour was one of only two bands to accomplish this for the whole day. This week the band will host the Foothills Classic. In the past few years this contest has grown to become one of the largest in East Tennessee. It begins at Noon and will host bands from all around East Tennessee.
