At approximately 7:01 a.m. Friday morning, John Wilson fell asleep at the wheel when his Nisson car left Hwy 411, also known as Maryville Hwy. and Sevierville Hwy. within a few feet of Alfred McCammon Road. According to Officer Ledford of the Blount County Sheriff’s Department, the call came in at 7:04 a.m., was dispatched at 7:08 a.m. and officer Ledford arrived at 7:28 a.m. “I just fell asleep on the way home after working all night,” stated Wilson. “I was almost home, I live in Hinkle Estates in Seymour.” “He just ran off the road and rolled several times right in front of me,” stated Richard Kinkead. “I was heading for work following the pickup when it just veered off the road. It was wild. Everything started flying out the back of his truck as it was rolling.” Besides the damage to the Nisson truck and Kinkead spilling coffee in his lap, Wilson, was unhurt.
