Blood Drive Set

Donors of all types are needed, but there is a special need for O positive, O negative and A negative blood types. Donors will receive a Medic T-shirt and a free cholesterol level evaluation. Donors must be 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. There is no upper age limit for donating. Individual donations may be used for the donor’s and/or the donor’s family’s own Medic coverage (see below), as a replacement or as a substitution for someone else’s coverage. Family coverage means that one donation a year to Medic exempts the donor and his/her IRS dependents, from paying blood supplier-processing fees at any U.S. hospital if transfusion is needed.
